EvenSit™ · Exclusive to JH Chairs

Comfort you can see.

EvenSit™ pressure-distribution seat technology uses a flexible seat shell and pressure-distribution structure beneath the upholstery to spread load more evenly, support natural movement and help reduce pressure points during extended sitting.

The idea beneath the upholstery

Real comfort is engineered into the seat, not added as an afterthought.

EvenSit™ works beneath the upholstery, combining cushioning with a flexible seat shell and pressure-distribution structure to support comfort and natural movement.

Traditional seat vs EvenSit™

What changes beneath the fabric?

Traditional upholstered seat

Fabric over a CMHR foam cushion

A conventional upholstered task-chair seat commonly uses a CMHR foam cushion over a rigid plywood base. As the foam compresses, support may become more concentrated around the main contact points.

Layers that work together

EvenSit™ combines cushioning with a flexible seat shell and pressure-distribution structure. The shell flexes with movement, helping spread load more evenly across the sitting area.

How it works

One responsive seat. Support that moves with you.

The seat combines cushioning, a flexible shell and pressure distribution to support comfort and movement throughout the working day.

Comfort layer

Provides soft initial cushioning when the user first sits down.

02

Flexible seat shell

The shell beneath the upholstery flexes with movement to support the user.

03

Pressure-distribution structure

Helps distribute sitting pressure across the seat, including beneath the sitting bones.

Designed for extended sitting

A more considered kind of comfort for people and places.

More even pressure

Helps disperse load across the seat rather than concentrating it at a few points.

Natural movement

The flexible seat shell moves with the user as sitting position changes throughout the day.

The seat combines cushioning and a flexible structure to support movement and distribute pressure.

Replaceable seat components

Individual pressure-distribution pads, upholstery fabric and the complete seat cassette can be replaced.
