EvenSit™ · Exclusive to JH Chairs

Comfort you can see.

EvenSit™ pressure-distribution seat technology uses a responsive honeycomb mesh layer to spread load more evenly, support natural movement and help reduce pressure points during extended sitting.

The ball demonstration offers a simple look at the hidden seat structure.

The idea beneath the upholstery

Real comfort is engineered into the seat, not added as an afterthought.

EvenSit™ changes the structure underneath the fabric. Our proprietary three-layer design combines soft initial cushioning with adaptive support and a responsive honeycomb mesh pressure-relief layer.

Traditional seat vs EvenSit™

What changes beneath the fabric?

Traditional upholstered seat

Fabric over a CMHR foam cushion

A conventional upholstered task-chair seat commonly uses a CMHR foam cushion over a rigid plywood base. As the foam compresses, support may become more concentrated around the main contact points.

Layers that work together

EvenSit™ combines cushioning, adaptive support and a honeycomb mesh structure with a mechanism shell that flexes with movement, helping spread load more evenly and create airflow beneath the user.

How it works

Three layers. One responsive seat.

The seat is designed as a system. Each layer has a distinct job, so comfort, support, resilience and airflow work together rather than relying on one block of foam.

01

Comfort layer

Provides soft initial cushioning when the user first sits down.

02

Adaptive support layer

Responds to sitting position and absorbs changing loads as the user moves.

03

Honeycomb mesh layer

Spreads pressure, recovers its shape and creates open channels for airflow.

Designed for extended sitting

A more considered kind of comfort for people and places.

More even pressure

Helps disperse load across the seat rather than concentrating it at a few points.

Natural movement

Responsive layers adapt as the user changes position throughout the day.

Resilient support

The honeycomb structure is designed to return to shape after compression.

Built-in airflow

Open channels through the seat structure encourage air to move beneath the upholstery.
